In the context of developing an effective and efficient National Logistics System (Sislognas), the Government has mandated the implementation of Presidential Regulation no. 26 of 2012 concerning the Blueprint for the Development of the National Logistics System. Development of competent and professional human resources in logistics to support all types of transportation and logistics activities. Reflecting on the incident of an explosion in a warehouse for storing dangerous and toxic goods (B3) in Beirut, Lebanon. Training in the handling of dangerous goods must be carried out to avoid such accidents. Special competence in the field of B3 handling can provide security for the work environment and the surrounding environment in order to avoid accidents at work.
Participating in the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code Training, participants are expected to understand the intent of implementing the IMDG Code and be able to use it as a reference to fulfill IMDG Code requirements related to its classification, how to pack. container traffic and storage, marking and labeling including methods for segregation and transport
